Currently our students are split up into three teams residing in three village to do their second missions internship. We received an incredible testimony and we definitely need your prayers. One of the students Steve* from Team #2 went to the an area where he saw a man Ali* selling fish. Through conversation Steve asked Ali if he could accompany him on his journey to find more fish.

Steve recounted how he was so tired at the end of the day. They took a bike a long distance. After that they trekked another long distance before they started fishing. During their time out, Steve told Ali, “You have tried to have children with your wife but you are unable.” Ali confirmed it was true. Steve added, “You have a second wife. You did have a baby with her but the baby died.” Again Ali confirmed it was true. This led to Ali being astonished. So, Steve shared the Gospel with Ali and Ali accepted Christ!

Not only that Steve came home with fish for everyone to eat in the house where he was staying! That night the household ate well.

It doesn’t end there.

Naturally Supernatural

So, how did Steve exactly know to even approach Ali? Actually, before Steve left on his internship he had a dream where he saw a man selling fish and approached him. We don’t have all the details of that dream but it was due to a dream why Steve approached Ali. Praise God for dreams and visions in the last days. May it lead to the salvation of many!

One of the things that MSSM teaches students is to be “naturally supernatural”. The students aim to make friends and serve others. In the midst of that, they use it as opportunities to release the power of the kingdom. Through serving this fisherman God released a powerful prophetic flow that caught his attention in a way normal words could not.

Discipleship to Begin

Please pray for Ali and Team #2 as they begin the discipleship process with Ali. Discipleship is a sensitive process in areas such as where OM and MSSM are working. Please pray that Ali is not intimidated and stays faithful on the course of following Jesus. Pray against the spirit of fear on Ali and FOR a spirit of wisdom and revelation for Team #2 which will be working with Ali.
